About Me

Maxwell Friday was formed in the summer of 2005 in Spokane, Washington. Since it’s start in the summer of 2005, Maxwell Friday has laid its roots in the Spokane Area, where all it’s members reside. Maxwell Friday has many influences that they would claim as having an influence on their sound. This comes from their diverse musical tastes. Their ultimate goal is to create music that sounds good and is fun to play. Maxwell Friday starts with a base of rock and adds blues, R&B, hard progressive rock, alternative grunge, metal, smooth rock, jazz and tries to mesh it into a sound that they can call their own. The band is made up of five members all under the age of 29.This Spring and Summer promise to be big for Maxwell Friday as they release their 4 song EP to the public and look to play live shows. Their hope is to generate enough interest from playing live and creating new material to allow them to proceed into the studio again to record more songs.
