Why Do People Walk
Well we've finished it, we're stoked to present "Why Do People Walk" our second EP, we hope you enjoy it. As with Metropolis you can get a hold of it by emailing us at "[email protected]", also this time it's available in Real Groovy. It costs $10 from us directly but a little more from Real Groovy (fixed costs make us sad).
We'll be having an EP release party in the first couple of weeks of March, and it'll be a pretty classy affair, hopefully with some art from the lovely Aaron Cole (responsible for the cover art). Details will be up on this page as soon as we know them.
Reviews:
-"As people slowly begin to discover The Wicks and enjoy their music and charming self-effacement, the band might have more trouble than they bargained for at keeping their low profile."

-"It’s not the most original sound but at the same time it’s not a bad rip off."

-"Favourite song and one that I think sums The Wicks up is Tertius, kind of a adult tantrum of a pop song with great expansive parts."

Life in the Swimming Holes Video
We've also finally produced our first video, thanks to the Gun Show from Alt TV for putting it all together for us. Here it is.
The Metropolis According to Morris
As some people will know we've had a low key release of our debut E.P "The Metropolis According to Morris" (we've started selling it at shows.) You can get a hold of it by emailing us and asking for a copy, $5 each.
Much Love
The Wicks
