Hello,my name is Oleg Ostapchuk. I was born in a small city Velsk in Arkhangelsk region, Russia. First time i picked up the saxophone was at the age of 15. When i was 19 i went to Moscow to study at the best jazz school in Russia, Gnesin's Academy of Music. I studied with the great Russian jazz educator end saxophonist Alexander Oseichuk. After graduating Gnesin's Academy i won a presidential scholarship to Berklee College of Music. I began my studies at Berklee in january, 2007.
