About Me

I am currently on the brink of jumping out a window in Durham, NC. I have a degree in Digital Arts, which I received from Art Institute San Diego and it does a great job absorbing the oil drip from underneath my car.I am finishing a degree in Nursing and working in the ER at a great hospital. When we are done here, we are returning to the West Coast and I will go for my Masters in Chinese Medicine. I spent the first part of my life taking and I've decided to spend the rest giving. I like Thai and Indian food. The hotter, the better. I like to dance, but since moving back to NC, I think I'm starting to forget. I love the city, but feel at home in the country. Unfortunately, Durham is neither. I love to travel and experience new cultures, whenever possible. Life is good...Favorite quote this week -"Everything that we become is a product of what we have thought" -Siddhartha Gautama

My Interests

Surfing, Rock Climbing, Martial Arts (SYSTEMA and Kenpo)... anything adventurous and outdoors. I also enjoy playing my Didgeridoo, Chinese Medicine, and learning new things that I can dive into for awhile.

I'd like to meet:

Real, fun-loving, outgoing, level headed, music loving, trusting, non-judging, drama lacking, laid back, you know what I mean by chillin' kind of people.

Music:

I'm a Drum & Bass Junkie, Raggah*, DJ Shadow, Freaky Flow, AK1200, Goldie, Roni Size, Ed Rush, Sofa Surfer, Boards of Canada, Roots, Mos Def, Q-bert, Terranova,Thievery Corperation, Jamalski...Radiohead, Cranes, Dead Can Dance, Sigur Ros, Sheila Chandra, Juana Molina, bla, bla, bla...throw in a little more Drum and Bass, some breaks, and a little indiginous music from around the world and you got it...til' I hear something else.

Movies:

Low budget horror like: Bad Taste, Dead Alive,etc..., old Kung Fu movies, Willy Wonka (the original), Scratch, Dark Days, Spring Summer Fall Winter Spring, Baraka (had to do it), Amelie, Finding Neverland. I have to think about it....so many movies...(Just Saw a german film "Wings of Desire"...amazing film!!! 300, Shoot em'Up, Lone Wolf and Cub series, Fight Club,

Television:

I finally got a new TV, but still no cable. The screen gives off a slight green color, which in some ways adds to the more obscure films we watch. I don't think it's healthy.

Books:

The Web That Has No Weaver, Walden, Life of Pi, Tao Te Ching, The Prophet, Fourth Uncle in the Mountain. Just finished The Alchemist and loved it. I love books! Give me some suggestions.

Heroes:

Still looking...
