About Me

I'm very literarily-minded. This is demonstrated by my use of words like "literarily". I hope to make a living as a novelist someday, which better work out because otherwise I don't know what the heck I'm going to do with my life. Moving on to other subjects: I play fiddle, mostly old-time and Irish; I have a fondness for fairy tales, particularly Beauty and the Beast; I over-think everything; my favorite color is purple; my favorite punctuation is the semicolon, which explains my presenting the list this way; finally, lists of things about me tend to get progressively more and more boring, which means I should definitely stop now.

My Interests

Reading, music, dancing, bizarre philosophical discussions, other interesting things, and mostly writing.

I'd like to meet:

There are probably a lot of people I'd like to meet, many of whom I've never even heard of. I'd particularly like to meet Pete Seeger; it's even on my list of things to do before I die.

Music:

My tastes are fairly varied, but my heart belongs to The Mammals.

Movies:

I've encountered many good movies... picking favorites would be difficult. Hijacking Catastrophe is an awesome documentary, though.

Television:

Star Trek (Voyager and TNG - not so much the others), Firefly, Arrested Development, Monty Python's Flying Circus, How I Met Your Mother, The Class, Bones, Raines, and various really old shows.

Books:

Favorite authors include Bernard Cornwell, Mercedes Lackey, Robin McKinley, and Jasper Fforde.
