The Ireland Brothers Band

Layout by CoolChaserFrom Ontario's Northumberland County, The Ireland Brothers Band are known for their eclectic fusion of roots, blues, country and rock. Their sound, stage presence and tight, energetic performances have been impressing audiences across Canada. Such performances include the renowned Havelock Country Jamboree. From that exposure they have had the opportunity to work with several Canadian and International artists including Blue Rodeo's Greg Keelor, The Good Brothers, Charlie Major, Corb Lund, The Sadies, Jet Williams, James Mckenty & The Spades, The Hawks, Washboard Hank, Blackie & The Rodeo Kings Stephen Fearing, Elliott Brood, Justin Rutledge, Dustin Bentall and The Barenaked Ladies. In October 2008 they released their debut album, Far From The City Lights at the Dakota Tavern in downtown Toronto. The album is appropriately titled, as it gives you a true sense of their roots in roots music. Brothers Daniel and Dylan Ireland and dedicated friends Liam Wilson, Chad Tremblett make up this talented group of musicians and songwriters. Daniel and Dylan front the band, alternating lead vocals with Daniel on rhythm guitar and Dylan on lead. Liam plays bass, Chad hammers out the drums. Together they have a unique but accessible sound that has become a staple in the music scenes of Ontario cities including Toronto, Ottawa, Kingston, and Peterborough. The Brothers continue to write and record between weekly performances, with additional touring endeavors well underway.
