Hello everyone, we are The Circle K, a fine ensemble of punk rocking dudes here to deliver you some fine tunes and good entertainment. So give our songs a listen, and hopefully they will be agreeable. If so, come check us out sometime at a show. Our Bio can be found below:
The Circle K's origins can be traced to early 2003 when it began as the brain child of Chris Hoffmann and former guitarist Josh Krebs. After some initial deliberation on who to recruit to fill the vacancies in the band, The Circle K was officially formed and by September had its original line-up in place. At this time The Circle K consisted of Chris on lead guitar and vocals, Josh on rythym guitar and vocals, Jake Krebs on bass, and Tom Mattern on drums.
Over the next year and a half The K experienced a period of success in writing and performing its music. Playing an abundance of shows in Pennsylvania and Maryland, The Circle K brought its brand of punk rock tunes to all that would lend an ear. Just as The K's popularity began to become eminent, culminating with a feature article on the band in the York Daily Record in February of 2005, it began to face some difficulties internally. Without boring anyone with the details, the disagreements between its members became too prolific and by the summer of 2005 The Circle K as it was was finished.
Never fear, however, as we have returned from our extended hiatus to bring back the very essence The Circle K always stood for. With Chris and Tom returning on their respective instruments, the ever-so-sexy Zaq Moore taking over the bass duties, and Todd "The Shuz" Goldstein rounding it out on rhythm guitar, we've jumped head first back into the world of music. We're here to play some music and have some good times with no bull shit entailing.
