About Me
I have always been the outcast & oddball -the strange one out of the bunch. Never quite fit in anywhere and failed miserably in all attempts to do so. Fought the demons, too -anxiety, depression, addiction...all attempts by the enemy to keep me from the person God created me to be for HIS purpose, not my own. In 2000, I finally did what God needed me to do - fall on my face in utter despair, having exhausted all avenues to happiness save one...total submission to God. I rededicated my life to Christ, got serious about my relationship with Him and my knowledge of His Word, and basically anything and everything that had to do with Him and suddenly found my purpose -HIS purpose for me. See, I been in church most of my life-yeah, been in church with little knowledge of things spiritually. But I had been looking with my eyes wide shut. But now God revealed to me why everything I previously tried (relationships, basketball, college, jobs, singing, rapping, producing) had failed. Quite frankly the Lord refused to let me be a success in ANYTHING that didn't have His purpose on it because I was too conceited to give Him all the glory. I was called to preach around 15,16,17 yrs old but never recongnized the call. Besides what would my family, my potnas - my girl would think?! Anyway took 13yrs for me to preach that first sermon. I'm still not a success. Don't really have a lot. The only evidence of anything I ever pne right is my son and my daughter ---but I live with a burning desire to serve God and to minister to His people in the way He would have me to do it. And my satisfaction and happiness comes from knowing I'm living in HIS PURPOSE - not my own. And right now, this IS the way. So if you think gospel and hip hop don't go together, I offer this up for you to chew on -- God created EVERYTHING the way He wanted to. Man has taken a whole lot of God's beautiful creations and perverted them under the influence of the head pervertor himself-Satan. Now I ask you this-when are we going to fight for what the world has stolen, used, and abused...sanctify it...and offer it back to the Lord? And how much persercution are we willing to endure - even if it comes from other Christians - for the sake for leading one soul to salvation, for the sake for stopping that one person who thinks the only way out is suicide or sex or drugs - to represent Christ not just in "MySpace" but in ALL SPACES?! Amazing Grace doesn't necessarily speak to everyone. I want to work with, network with, collaborate with, produce any and all who share the vision. Just holla at cha boy. Be Blessed in the Lord
