About Me

No One Is An Island is the latest project of two Erie, PA musicians named Brandon Colao and Greg Simon (both formerly of The Goodbye Sessions and There's Always Tomorrow). The two have been playing together since 1999 and have toured the entire east coast and mid-south twice, worked with Alan Douches (West West Side Music) and played shows with such acts as Fall Out Boy, Terror, Hit The Lights, Spitalfield, Rookie Of The Year, Punchline and Down To Earth Approach. With the new project, both musicians wanted to stray away from their previous efforts and try something new. The band went into their friend Dan Scalise's At All Costs Media Recording Studios with almost nothing written, all of the drum tracks were improvised, and only one or two of the guitar riffs were written prior to the sessions. Building something from nothing is what we're all about.
