What doesn't kill me, WILL make me stronger!

About Me

I guess that one could say that I am a simple, yet very complicated person. I will do anything in the world for those that I care about. I spend more time thinking about everyone else and how they would feel, and not enough time thinking about me. I have a tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve and I try to be tough, but I am actually a very soft and compassionate person. I am not afraid to cry (many would say that I do it way too often), and I am usually not afraid to speak my mind. Unfortunately, I have found that as I have gotten older, I can sometimes be very short on patience. I take things out on people when in all actuality, they don't deserve it.Layout made by

My Interests

That's a tough one. I love to sing, go on vacation (preferably to warmer climates), swim, go boating, walk through the park on a nice day, and spend time with my family and friends. My dog is my best friend, so any time spent with her is valued. Without her, I would be lost! I'm not an avid sports fan, but Cleveland Indians games are a lot of fun. Sad to say, that is about the only Cleveland team I can get into. In quieter moments, I like to curl up and watch movies and sometimes read. Writing has always been a great way for me to relax as well.

I'd like to meet:

Honest and fun people that are looking for new friends. I am not into liars, perverted people, or those who thrive on taking advantage of people and messing with others' lives or emotions. Life is too short for that crap.

Music:

My absolute favorite would probably be country, with Tim McGraw at the top of the list. I also like Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, Reba, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, and Kenny Chesney - to name a few. I enjoy listening to 80's music, since that is the era I grew up in. The only thing I really despise is rap. I don't know how people listen to the crap.

Movies:

My favorite movies would include Big Daddy, Shawshank Redemption, and Pretty Woman. There are several others that I like, but I am drawing a complete blank. I can't get into science fiction stuff or stupid humor, but good comedies, dramas, and action flicks do me good.

Television:

Yes, call me crazy, but I am a soap opera fan.....but only of Days of Our Lives. I also like American Idol, Law and Order SVU, and CSI. On some occasions, I can get into talk shows if they are realistic and not a bunch of foolish people screaming at each other! Other than that, I don't watch much t.v.

Books:

Sadly enough, I don't do a whole heck of a lot of reading. I enjoying perusing my Massage Magazines, and I am currently reading a book about how to rid yourself of debt. HA! We will see if it works.

Heroes:

My heroes are my parents and my maternal grandparents. They have all had a major impact on my life. I admire all of the service men and women defending our country as well.

Love the people that brought you into this world!

I had to attend a wake tonight for the father of one of my very best childhood friends.  I saw the agony in her eyes and the pain that she was feeling, and it devasted me.  She held herself ...
