Tidig Tisdag was formed in Gotheburg, Sweden 2006. The members met in a school project at the Gothenburg School of Music & Musicology. The first rehearsals took place awfully early (8.30 am) tuesday mornings! Thereby the name Tidig Tidag, which is swedish for "Early Tuesday".
Recent:
Tidig Tisdag had a good start. Just after the start up the band got spotted and interviewed by a big Local TV-station while they performed at the Music Agains Violence anniversary and the Planeta World Music Festival. This PR opened the doors for numerous gigs!
In 2007 Tidig Tisdag got envolved in a SIDA-project, doing a small tour with the palestinian group Turab. This project has been a success so far and it will probably proceed in 2008. Hopefully in Palestine.
The bands first demo was recorded at HSM studio early spring 2007. The feedback has been great so far! A full album production is within sight, but until then, enjoy the 4 track demo here on Myspace.com!
