Rock Of Ages Entertainment

About Me

Rock Of Ages Entertainment is a company with eleven years experience in the music industry, having acted as artist managers, booking agents, having worked in the media (print and broadcast media), and a number of years working as a concert and festival promoter.
The organisation is headed up by founder/director Steven Nagle, who had lost all faith in the entertainment industry owing to it's cloak-and-dagger attitude, and it's "old man network" that seems to dominate the global music scene, and which has choked the British music scene in particular, of any real talent.
As such, "ROAE" went on a crusade to deliver high quality entertainment at a minimum cost to the public and in such a fashion as to be equally rewarding for the artists using the organisation's events as platforms for their career to be launched.
We are currently managing ex-Steps performer Lee Latchford Evans and are taking on a fleet of new bands for 2009. In addition, we run our own-branded UK-based festival called "Rock Of Ages Fest". This event is currently being extended to Toronto, Calgary & Vancouver.
On top of that, we are in the process of setting up our own record label as a further platform for artists to launch their career. Coupled with our business advise, pastoral care and infrastructure, this could lead to our artists "going career" within a number of years of working with us.
If you are interested in any of our services, please give us a buzz on the below contact details and we will be happy to have a chat! Please be aware we are a PROFESSIONAL company and have no interest in time wasters, hobby bands or supplying anybody with any contacts - we've worked hard over the last 13 years to build up the organisation and have developed a standing as a trustworthy organisation. We work damn hard for the acts we work with, and anyone interested in our services should realise that we expect to be paid for our work.
We are currently representing the following artists and are extending our roster again later in the year. Our next artist management showcase is September 20th 2009 @ The Bridgehouse 2 in East London. Entry to the public will be free, and as such, if you are interested, please let us know so we can have a gander at what you have to offer us.
ARTIST ROSTER:
Lee Latchford-Evans (Pop/Soft Rock)
Of "STEPS" fame, Lee is a gifted vocalist, musician and actor. Working on a number of TV, film and music based solo projects at the moment, he is available for a number of different types of bookings exclusively via Rock Of Ages Entertainment.
Reign Of Sirius (Progressive Metal)
Progressive Metal isn't really a Northern thing... apparently - but "Reign Of Sirius", hailing from the gritty Northwest, are a young band working towards an album release at the end of 2009 - their style of metal leads them into concept band territory, and they will no doubt blossom over the period of their recording as story tellers and musicians. This is definitely one band to keep your eye on - enthusiastic, hard-working and growing in popularity.
The Infamous (Classic Rock)
Welsh rockers "The Infamous" are one of the country's best developing rock bands. Oozing the kind of sleazy classic rock you'd expect from Motorhead, Guns N Roses, Heaven's Basement and others, this is one band we expect to achieve great things.
Sex Mess (Classic Rock)
Classic Rock/Sleaze act from Brighton. The band have been working towards a debut release in the not too distant future and are part of the company's mentoring programme.
MORE ACTS TBC SOON...
We wind up extending our artist roster on September 28th 2009 and will not be extending it for at least 12 months.
Regards
Steve
