Valentines [New Songs Up]

Valentines....
....are a four piece rock outfit from Larbert, the band formed in early February 2007 and have since enjoyed gigs in Larbert, Grangemouth, Falkirk and Glasgow.
Our first Glasgow gig was at The Universal Bar and since then we've played the Barrowlands 2. We've also played the Grangemouth Rugby club and our local on plenty of occassions, Grubowski's, which is sadly missed.
We write our own songs that are of a rocky blues nature, amazing riffs and beastin' lyrics. We've also played numerous gigs at the Glen Village club and hosted one last July. We have also won the Falkirk Music Projects Battle of the Bands competition, which was held at the Barrowlands.

Tight and serious. I don't think I've heard a more capable band live in any small venue in Scotland. Considering their ages, they are unbelievably good and will hopefully go far with their own material. Worthy winners on the performance alone.

The Valentines at Big In Falkirk: Larbert's Lightning rod riff masters kicked out the jams to end another great year for the local tent. This is one band people would sell a vital organ to see live. They hit you like a hurricane and force grins of gratitude onto grown men who thought this kind of piledriving guitar/keyboard rock had ceased to exist. If anyone does not love everything about the Valentines after seeing them on Saturday afternoon then they should check their pulse, because they must be either dead or a Radio One DJ.
