Vinny Weible's music is written to his own tune. The raw folk blues songs take hold with strong, emotional & distinctive melody; foot stompin' rhythm, and honest, crafty lyrics. The music stands out with creativity & originality, bending the boundaries of roots music, while at the same time holding true to, and passing on the rich tradition of acoustic bluegrass & americana music.
Vinny Weible has been writing, playing, performing & promoting music for well over a decade, playing both solo, and with his different bands over the years such as Vinny Weible & Soul Logic, The Cedar Town Boys, The Long Hollow Hell Hounds, and most recently as The Vinny Weible Band, as well as starting High Jive Productions and co-founding The Camp Out Roots Festival.
Over The years he has had the great honor of playing with or opening for various other artists and has shared the stage with acts such as Justin Vernon(Bon Iver), Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Y.M.S.B., Charlie Parr, Javier Trejo, Pert Near Sandstone, Down Lo, White Iron Band, Smokin' Bandits, Fat Maw Rooney, The Dewayne brothers, Hackensaw Boys, Trampled by Turtles, The Big Wu, God Johnson, Downers Grove, Burnt Toast & Jam , Groovatron, Banjerdan, Jeff White, Victor Barnes, Sloppy Joe, Rusted Root & MORE!!!
Vinny Weible is currently working on recording a solo album to release this fall, with a mix of old, older, new, newer & live recordings,
