A native to Colorado, I was born the first daughter and third of four children. My two older brothers kept me under their wing as I pretended to be one of the boys while my younger sister followed along. It was my teenage years when I discovered I couldn't keep up with the toughness of football and discovered boys were more fun to flirt with than to fight.After graduating from high school I found my way to CSU in Fort Collins, Colorado, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Human Developement and Family Studies and minored in Business. My professional career has included over 20 years of customer service management, and five years of non-profit fundraising consulting.
I have had few certainties in my life, and knowing I wanted to be a mother was definitely one of them. Sara is 18 and Katie is 16. I am focused on the girls' needs right now, and I know the rest will find it's way somehow.
