This young DJ from Madrid began his musical career at the early age of eight. He spent six years playing the piano at the Conservatory of Madrid. Then, in 1996, he switched the piano for his first deck, when he also began to feel attracted by electronic music. Since the beginning, he has formed part of collectives and has performed in some of the most popular rave parties of the city. It is in 2005 when he is discovered by fSmgroup, one of the most important entertainment enterprises and promoters of Spain. That year, Karretero starts as resident DJ of Danzoo@Macumba (one of the best clubs in Spain, with amazing line ups every Friday night) and as a part of the amazing line-up of Klubbers..Day, one of the top electronic music festivals of the country (and even Europe).In two years, he has shared the booth with some of principal DJs of the world, such as Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Sven V..th, Ricardo Villalobos, Tiga, Dave Clarke, Dj Hell, Misstress Barbara, Vitalic, Ellen Allien, Miss Kittin, Stacey Pullen, Fran..ois K, Christian Smith, The Youngsters, Derrick May, Swayzak, Aril Brikha, James Holden, Mathew Johnson, Zombie Nation, Anthony Rother, Alexander Kowalski, James Ruskin, Technasia, Green Velvet .......
