About Me

*All songs and lyrics listed on this site are the property of MorganEve and may not be used without permission.*

I spend my time performing with Rhode Island-based bands Barn Burning and Brown Bird , among others.

I also am currently playing fiddle in two Connecticut-based folk rock bands: The Crickstones and Once Removed . Both bands are Irish, Blues, Jam and Bluegrass-inspired with a repertoire that spans from traditional tunes to Tom Waits.

In spare time I'm recording with various other projects(visit me at my business site !), while writing and recording my own songs to quietly pursue my solo career. Stay tuned for the release of my first album, from Dirt Floor Records, out soon.

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !

Barn Burning

Liz McNicholl and The Crickstones

Once Removed
Influences: Personal: Pearl Jam, Fiona Apple, The Beatles, The Band, Richard Wood, My Morning Jacket, Badly Drawn Boy, Soundgarden, Deep Purple, Scorpions, Metallica, Mike Patton, Social Distortion, Johnny Cash, Regina Spektor, Vassar Clements, Robert Johnson, Alice In Chains...

Bands: Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, The Revival Preachers, Eddie Cochrane, Merle Haggard, Motorhead, Kilgore, Christy Moore, The Grateful Dead, The Band, Old and In the Way, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Bill Monroe, Mary Black, The Stones, Patty Griffin, Townes Van Zandt...

Sounds Like: Once Removed sounds like what would happen if The Greatful Dead kidknapped Bob Dylan and took him to Ireland.

The Crickstones sounds like what would happen if The Greatful Dead kidknapped an Irish lass and introduced her to Bob Dylan.

MorganEve sounds like what would happen if a fiddle player started galavanting around with The Greatful Dead, kidknapping people left and right and frequenting the Irish pubs from the age of 15. And then took up guitar.

Barn Burning sounds like this.
And Brown Bird sounds like this .
Type of Label: Major
