FUNKTUATION

About Me

2.1.2008
FUNKTUATION's long awaited album is nearing completion. It's been over a YEAR since we've been repeating those words again and again. You can't rush art and this album is just that. Long forgotten seem the days when bands entered the studio with a number of songs, hit record and put out an honest representation of who they were. Though we're not against the age of Pro-Tools and sequenced tracks, that's NOT what this band is about. What has transpired throughout this recording process is one that when released, music listeners - and i'm speaking to you real music aficianados - will remember what it was like to sit down, open a record and feel the heartache, dedication, struggle, creativity of their favorite artists. I'm talking about the olden days when you listened to an album start to finish while studying the liner notes which in itself was an intricate piece of art. Real musicians performing and singing about real issues that effect each and every one of us. Uplifting messages deeper than what your favorite drink is at the club. We're not hating on anyone who's out there doing their thing. But as group, we're well aware that something is missing. Whether WE'RE that missing piece is unknown and not important. But it's FUNKTUATION's position to give you something honest and straight to the point. Thanks to everyone who's continued to show us support and we hope you'll stay tuned to the upcoming release date of this album.
Peace, FUNKTUATION.
