Fetish

Fetish is a joy Division tribute band made out of 2 joy division fans. The music of Joy Division means a lot to us. Joy Division is a mirror that forces you to look at your own existence; how ever confronting that may be.Fetish was erected to play a single show on halloween night 2003. Both the audience and the band were so pleased with the result they decided to play whenever there was a good occasion. So they started playing benefits and parties. Fetish got a chance to play at the rock ’n roll highschool tributes at Rotown in july 2006. However both the drummer, (who was on tour in Japan) and the guitar player (on holiday) were unavailable but bassplayer Bruno and singer Leen decided to do the gig with just the two of them since Bruno was confident he could play all parts on his bass with the help of his loopmachine and effects. It worked out pretty darn good and ever since that night Fetish also plays as a duo. Recently we got ourselves a new guitar player; his name is Frank Jonas and he looks a liitle bit like Peter Hook making him the only member of Fetish to resemble a Joy Division by not only sound but looks too!
