Greetings & Salutations!, fellow MySpace~Cadets!
Welcome to lovetown.
lovetown is the brainchild (spawn) of RyNo Scott,
a Wilmington, DE. singer/songwriter. (me, duhh! 8)I have been performing ever since I burst out into a show tune
in the delivery room!
(HeLLO, my baybee!, HEllo my Honey!, HEllo my Ragtime~GAAAaal! 8)
But cereally folks, ...I got my start at age five at Arena Stages (Grace Church),
now the Delaware Children's Theatre.
Over the next 35 years, I would perform in musicals, both
community and professional, be a club & radio disc jockey,
work as a road/light tech, and sing in various cover bands.I created this space for networking with other
musicians in the hopes of achieving several goals.
1.) To find people near me for a cover/or original band.
Or B.) an acoustic~duo type deal, as well as a writing partner.
I have limited 'playing' skillz/experience.
I'm primarily a vocalist/lyricist. However, I can play some basic keys,
mainly to flesh out vocal melodies, and bang a few strings on a guitar.
Badly! 8D I'm also interested in collaborating via the inner~netz as
the local music scene is heavily cover driven and not much interest or
luck in that area as of late. If it's the right mix of tunes/players/and MUllah, I'm in like Flint! 8P Otherwise, at this stage in my life, the original deal is easily more appealing. And the rock~star dream is long dead. 8P
No illusions of grandeur. Just the unparalleled high I get from creating
some or all of a tune and playing it. If others dig it too, then BONUS! 8D
Anyone interested in one of the scenarios previously mentioned,
just, GO POSTAL!! and I'll gladly reply. In the meantime, thanx for
visiting my page and listening to the jamz! ~ Many Blessings & Peace to All ~ RyNo

We interupt this scroll to bring you the following:
As you peruse my space, you will find a cornucopia of sights & sounds (ok, not actually)
I'm a man of many hats and I am passionate about a few things.
Music is obviously one, so is cinema/acting. Also, I have always been
politically, ...aware. And in recent years I have become more 'active'.
I understand that some people don't care to mix their business with pleasure 8P, however, my business IS pleasure! No wait, ...that was somebody else's
line. 8D What I mean to say is, I grew up with 70's bands like Led Zep, Bad Co., Bowie, Queen, The Police, et.al. which was FANtastic!
Then the 80's came along and I was turned onto U2, INXS, Peter Gabriel,
Sting and others who had some deeper meaning to their tunes (not all, all the time, of course but, that's not why you called. 8) As things like Live~Aid and Farm~Aid and Kool~Aid, wait, ...what? came about I started to become a little more interested in the world outside of my little bubble of Del~a~WHERE? Bands like U2 spoke to me about the strife between Protestants and Catholics. Peter Gabriel sang about injustices in Africa.
Sting told me about how the rainforest was dying and why I should care about that. As well as the folly of racing nuclear~arms. In other words, I started to feel passionately about other things than just partying and 'scoring' with girls (I was a CHAMP at the first, the second, uhhh, ...not so much 8P )
The point to this diatribe is, (yes, there is one) I have several things that cause a fire in my belly. (hold the snickering to a minimum, please 8)
And most are found somewhere on this page.
(keep scrolling 8) If you don't care for 'mixing' your passions, so be it.
I try to give the same respect that I demand, so I take no offense when
someone does not care for the same things I do. Cool! the world would be exTREMEly boring if we all agreed and liked the same things. Just keep in mind that it's not called, 'YOURspace'. 8D And if you happen to be interested in any of my causes, groups, rants, tirades? Then diggit! if not, no sweat.
So, in closing (FINally! 8) I would just like to say thank you for taking the
time to drop into lovetown, all are welcome, stay as long as you like. 8D
