As resident DJ Dion was responsible for converting the Middle East’s biggest and most successful nightclub, the famed PEPPERMINT, from 6 people per night to over 2000 people per night maintaining loyal clubbers throughout. Bringing international names to PEPPERMINT and working closely with world class DJs such as Paul Van Dyk, Erick Morillo, Bob Sinclar, Antoine Clamaran, Armin Van Buuren, Dave Seamen, Robbie Rivera, Sasha, Pete Tong, Ferry Corsten, Steve Lawler, Benny Benassi, Eric Prydz and Shapeshifters, to name a few, Dions experience stretches to top class stardom.Since leaving Peppermint in January 2006 to focus on more personal projects, Dion's career has flourished in the past year growing in leaps and bounds. Dion turned his midas touch of clubbing onto The Apartment which resulted in becoming Dubai's busiest Thursday Night (the Dubai weekend is Thur/Fri). Being ranked in 2005 Dj Mag top 250 did wonders for Dions international exposure seeing him branch out of the Middle East and Asia to play gigs all around the world on a very busy touring schedule.Climbing almost 200 places in the 2006 DJ MAG Top 100 to number 56, Dion’s career has to taken a steep rise to international dj stardom being strongly supported by appreciative clubbers and fans. Whilst back in Dubai Dion has been working on his debut album, Dion has rekindled his musical talent to create an individualistic house album that is sure to eclipse his already growing reputation as a true entertainer.Come October, Dions career burgeons into a growing empire with the opening of his new venue BLUSH, with monthly residencies from both MN2S and Azuli, this glamourous new venue caters to the serious clubbing fraternity in Dubai with a state of the art sound and light system as well as a DJ line up including the who's who of the house music scene. To coincide with the launch of BLUSH, the current radio show (Fridays 22.00 Radio 92 Dubai) and clothing lines will be rebranded under the BLUSH umbrella. Combined with a hectic touring schedule and the imminent track releases things are definitely looking bright for the up and coming young dj.
