ONE OF AUSTRALIAS MOST ACCOMPLISHED AND SOUGHT AFTER DJ'S
Dj Scott Van Rune’s career started at Roller City Frankston at the age of 14,then moving on to the big M underage disco’s before doing his mobile dj stint with various Mobile Music companies. He became excellent at reading crowds, beat and key mixing, remixing on the fly and other forms of turntableism.
He broke into the club scene, with his first residency at The Ivy in Melbourne on Saturday nights.
After a 18 year career as a professional dj and recently moving into the commercial producton of his own music as well he can excel in any style and venue he’s put in front of.
enjoying all types of music (always researching and holding the hottest floor filling vinyl anthems commercial and non commercial from the UK and around the world not to mention his own remixes and original tunes.), Commercial dance, house, electro, R&B, top40 with a bit of Retro thrown in.
He will mix his nights to perfection and prides himself on revving up the crowd to a frenzy.its very common to see his crowds throwing there hands in the air pionting at him.
Dj Scott Van Rune is very energetic and loves interacting with the crowd as he believes a good dj needs to be an entertainer as well as a great beat mixer.(A good radio voice helps ohhh yeah).
Dj Scotty uses both vinyl and cd’s plus effects,acapellas and on the odd occasion three turntables, for the right remix.
As you can imagine being a dj for over eighteen years he has played and resided in a lot of different clubs, pubs and festivals. and holds an extensive mailing list and a consistent following. Attached is a short list of some of the venues he has played and resided.

He as worked with pretty much all of Melbourne’s best cover bands including Adam 12, element, Freeeze, Pean, Felix (Engineering for Freeeze, Pean and Felix as well as dj’ing the night), Play Doh, Noxy Snood, Nitro, Chump, Tarko ect. and most of Australia’s top Dj’s and hundreds of international acts.
