Guitarist Nolan Ericsson. Born and raised in connecticut, Nolan now resides in NYC . He maintains a busy teaching schedule as well as performing around the city in solo and ensemble settings. Nolan is also very active in the studio and many of his compositions feature electronic sounds which combined with acoustic instruments create a unique sound. Nolan is known for combining many different elements in his guitar style and composing, primarily a jazz musician, his playing is a fusion of jazz, Nu Jazz, Classical and Flamenco guitar technique. Trained at the prestigious Berkely, Juilliard, and Purchase schools for music in classical, jazz and composition, Nolan is an incredibly versatile guitarist with a tasteful, understated virtuosity. His warm sound has graced the world over, from cutting-edge NYC jazz clubs to the rich guitar ancestry of Spain and Peru. Career highlights include performances at the British Consulate, the Austrailian Embassy, Cipriani's, and headlining an event for Mayor Michael Bloomberg in Times Square.
