About Me
Brady started making music when he was four by learning piano from his brother, and at age six, got his first drum kit and guitar. At age seven he started learning theory and performing W. Mozart and S. Joplin at recitals for the socialites in his town. At age nine, he started singing in various choirs including acapella groups and the Glen Ellyn Children's Chorus (anima). This continues for many years until he went to St. John's Northwestern Military Academy, where the fine arts programs were grossly overshadowed by athletics and JROTC. When he graduated and went to Central College, he started painting regularly and continued with vocal pedagogy until smoking started putting strain on his vocal chords, partying took up all his time, and he dropped out. Electric guitar became a focus when he continued to live in the rural town of Pella, IA, working various jobs and jamming with other musicians. After landing his first studio gig at R Paul's Music & Studios in Pella, he returned home and started learning modern recording techniques at the community college, under the direction of Ken Paoli. In 2006, after increased drug and alcohol abuse, (and a nasty prescription pill habit) he was admitted to Hazelden in Minnesota where he got clean along-side various celebrities. When he came home, he found work at Sam Ash Music as security/customer service and after that as an MC at Enchanted Castle. During this time, he was also unloading trailers at UPS, performing live with various bands and recording albums. In 2008, he graduated College of DuPage with a degree in General Studies. He is currently studying Music Business at Columbia College, Chicago with a concentration in music production. At this point, he has produced 12 albums worth of recorded material, and is just starting to release some of these to the general public. He also plays drums in the band, The Backroads of Main, which he manages and produces as well.
