About Me

Hello, My name is Bobbi. I was a child of the 70's and actually, I still live there in my head. The oldest of my three son's is the lead guitarist for Mokshya, which you will be hearing soon! My twin sons, I am sure you will hear about in the near future as well. And of all the things I have accomplished in my 40 something years, those three boys are my greatest accomplishment of any kind. I guess you would then label me a Proud Parent! And that's not a bad label! Get your own free cool template at MySpace Layouts

My Interests

My interests vary, as I"m going thru that thing they call the CHANGE. When I get them sorted out, I'll let you know!

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet.................The Eagles! It may sound corney to some, but if you grew up in the 70's, you might understand.

Music:

As I said before, I was a child of the 70's. I grew up first listening to my parents music. My Dad liked Big Band music. My Mom liked Gitterbug music. I remember listening to the radio listening to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Patsy Klein, Bing Crosby, Tom Jones, Johnny Cash. With my Nana I listened to Boots Randolf, Brook Benton and she loved to play the Boogy-Woogy on the piano! My music was the Monkeys, Donny Osmond, then I graduated to The Eagles, Elton John, Chicago. I have a 500 page notebook full of all the songs I've enjoyed listening to. Because of my failing memory, everytime I hear a song that I like I rush to write it down so that I will remember again! Below is my oldest son's band. You should be hearing it now. Remember the name: MOKSHYA

Movies:

Wow, now I really have to think............my favorite is Singin' in the Rain (I just love to watch Gene Kelly! )I also enjoyed watching Love Me Tender (actually any movie with Elvis that had more of a plot than Girls, Girls, Girls) I Am Sam, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Jaws, All the Leathal Weapons, Natural Born Killers, The Outlaw Josey Wales, most any Clint Eastwood movie, Pulp Fiction, I loved Scarface......say hello to my little friend!, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Grease, The Mask, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, White Christmas, Cape Fear, Dirty Dancing, Forrest Gump, all the Godfather movies, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Silence of the Lambs, Hook, Mary Poppins, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Wizard of Oz, All the Alien movies, Carrie, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, All the Halloween movies, Independence Day, The Lawnmower Man, Jurassic Park, The Shining, All the Star Wars movies, The Terminator........do you really want me to list all of them?

Television:

I've been a TV watcher since I was born. I lived in the hospital every winter the first 7 years of my life and there really wasn't much else to do there day after day. Now-a-days........I pretty much have it own just to drown out the ringing in my ears. If I actually sit down to watch it.......it's like reading a book.....by the first commercial I'm out like a light!

Books:

The first book I remember reading is Charlotte's Web back in the second grade! I read alot of Stephen King in the 70's and 80's. After I started having kids, if I opened a book to read I never got past the first chapter before I fell asleep. (everytime I picked up the same book, so I kinda gave up on reading)

Heroes:

A long time ago my hero used to be my Pop (my Dad). Long story short, after the divorce I saw him in a different light. I really don't have any heros that I can think of.
