Nosuchthing was offically established in Febuary of 2007. In only a few months this group of teens has managed to create a sound and image which will only grow with time. Band members, and childhood friends, Jonathan Ortiz(16,Vocals), Brian Rochet(Guitar,16), Victor Luna(Guitar,16), Stephen Rochet(Drums,14) created the band with the one common goal:To Express Their Love For Music.
House Party after house party the band soon realized they needed to complete their line-up and began playing shows in any venue,bar,hole in the wall or street corner possible. This was perfect timing for the arival of Mathew Chiriboga(19,Bass) former drummer of the tech metal band "Dead Puppets". After numerous jam sessions the band adopted the multi-talented musician into their family as their bass player. Matt brought the young group even more creativity and most important of all was very knowledgeable from previous experiences.
After filling in on guitar for a show one night, Paul Bryan Toledo(16) shocked the group with his creativity and talents. Later he become an official memeber as vocalist. His multiple talents will help come in handy as the band looks to progress their sound to something more unique and creative.
Nosuchthing offers a series blend of Hardcore Metal from upbeat melodies and 2-step jumpoffs to Death Metal riffs and Grindcore growls. Although young, this group of kids promises to keep producing catchy licks and relentless breakdowns. They will stop no where short of musical Brutality.
