About Me

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page. I really appreciate it.
Words and pictures on a flickering screen, connecting people through wires in the air.
Quite a miracle that we are collectively experiencing. And a novel way to connect with interesting people in the world.
First of all, I am a very humble person. So talking about myself in this fashion is challenging. But I will do my very best to give you a feel for me and what I'm all about. Typed words on a screen are quite different than spoken words flowing out into the air. I trust that you can hear my truth.
I was born to very loving, caring, and supportive parents, who gave me an excellent upbringing in the rural suburbs of small town blue-collar middle class America. My mother tells me that as a child I was a very inquisitive and curious, as I still am today.
If I were to break "about me" down into a sentence it would be something like this:
I am a combination of matter, energy, and consciousness interconnected through my personal ancestral spiritual aspect, in turn part of the greater collective human spirit, and in turn, part of the larger collective planetary consciousness.
A tri-part being of mind/body/spirit walking my path through life, seeking truth and following my curiosity wherever it leads me.
Thus far in my circles around the Sun, I've been many places and experienced many things. Flowing outward and beyond into the wild reaches of raw experience. Encountering many different people in many different places. Ever pushing and dissolving my limits of who I am and what is real.
Ever exploring and walking my intended path, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Continually growing and expanding in awareness of the miraculous miracle of life.
I find myself being and feeling most happy and alive in various out of doors activities. Exploring, hiking, wandering among the woods, gathering some food, growing food as well, swimming in cold cold lakes and streams, connecting with my family, feeling the wind through my hair and the sun on my face.
I take careful notice of what I put into my body, as I've realized that what I eat becomes me, is me. I enjoy fresh organic food, in its mostly unaltered form. Simple, natural food for vibrant living.
I prefer to find myself in the woods or a rural area. I don't "do well" in the city. Large concentrations of people don't make me feel very comfortable. I'd rather be outnumbered by trees and plants and animals and water, than people or boxes or cars or concrete. Mainly NATURE, as opposed to human made creations. I say this not as something I do for "fun" like going for a walk in the woods. But living in Nature. Immersing oneself into the circle of life, rather than a cancerous tumor gobbling up our precious planet. I live my life in rural wild places where the air is clean, the water is nourishing to drink, and the beauty of Nature flows forth.
After 15 years of indoctrination and psychological conditioning from "public education" I felt the need to deprogram myself from its ways and break free to discover who I really am. Granted, I deeply appreciate being able to read and write and had some fantastic mentors throughout my schooling who helped me along a great deal.
The vast majority of it all had me broken to the point where I'd go through the motions, but never did they get me to fully participate. I grew frustrated and displeased with myself, because I didn't fit there, yet I had no idea where I did fit.
Which, eventually, led to stoking the fires of my own curiosity, and taking my education into my own hands, outside the walls of an institution. So most of what I would call my "education" doesn't result in any "degree" or other such labels. My perspective, my world view, who I am, has been shaped by my experience and not by socially acceptable authority figures spoon feeding me illusions.
While I have deep respect and honor the choices that others have made in their educational decisions, my "education" has been self-directed. Thus, through following my curiosity my own education has taken me down a vibrant path with armloads of books, to thousands webpages, and of course an immense tapestry of relationships with my elders and guides, and so much more. It has all been part of my journey of discovery.
In the past I've done some exchanges for flat paper rectangles. Yeah, don't forget, its JUST PAPER. In the most immediate past I've been growing the little red cranberries in a north woods bog. Before that I lived at a bamboo nursery in the rainforests of Hawaii. I also worked/played/lived/loved at an organic farm near the shores of a freshwater sea. I pushed a button if people fell off a ski lift for part of a winter. Giving people car rides for a short bit. Playing with little kids in a daycare worker for a while. Wandering with my thumb out, and a pack on my back. For a time I was the "office person" for an outdoor school, I started a publishing company there and self published a hand full of books. I ran my own business for a while, selling music cds on the web. I view Life as an unfolding adventure, following my curiosity and truth wherever it takes me.
Thanks for reading. I'm very curious as to what is happening with you world. Do tell..
