About me hey? Well, I live near the seaside in Essex with my boyfriend Darren, who was the cutest boy in my school class!! (and still IS the cutest)The highlight of my life had to be last year, when I was lucky enough to complete an amazing year backpacking experience around the world, taking in the wonderful sights of Bali, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and finally USA.
Across the world I have seen some sights that have inspired me to continue exploring the world in search for new adventures, through future holidays. It is hard in words to describe just how fulfilling traveling is. It changes you as a person and enables you to see the true beauty in every scene and every circumstance. I couldn't recommend traveling more and I hope that I never forget my exhilarating experiences. Some of my favourite adventures included watching sea turtles laying their eggs on a beach in West Oz, seeing the fireworks at Sydney on New Years' Eve, climbing Ayers Rock, diving on the Great Barrier Reef, swimming with dolphins, swimming with Bull Sharks in Fiji-without a cage, holding a tiger cub, riding an elephant through the jungle and meeting 32 members of my family, in Oz, who I had never even spoken to before!! I know that I am SO lucky!
My favourite hobby is listening to music (mainly country) which is best when I'm hanging out with brother Glen, who now lives in Nashville. I've made some great friends there too and would visit every month, if I could!
I work as a Recruitment Consultant: a profession that I love and find challenging. I did live in Bedford for six years, where I met some of the best people in the world! I try to go back at least once a month for a catch up with my buddies!! I'm also lucky enough to still be pals with all my old schoolmates and we hang out loads in those rare spaces between work and the chores...
I grew up in a very music-orientated family in Essex. My Dad Steve was a country singer, Mum was a dancer, My big brother GLEN MITCHELL is probably the best guitarist in Nashville, maybe even the world!!! He has just won an award for a song that he wrote, 'Livin' Our Love Song', which was the most played song on radio last year. He's in my 'Top Friends' so do yourself a big favour and add him to yours! ;) and my sister JODIE MITCHELL is also an amazing singer/ songwriter and writes with a purity that amazes me!!!!!
I spent my years growing up listening to music and playing the guitar, rather than watching cartoons. Growing up in my family was ace and I'd love to go back to 1990 to re-live a few days again!
I'm pretty much the biggest country music fan in my generation and my ultimate goal is to make all of my friends own at least 5 country albums...A few are there already!
