Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!

About Me

The Initials are a 3 piece band from Drumchapel and Clydebank in the West of Scotland. Consisting of members Thomas Boyle, Scott Ferrie and Jordan Murray, The Initials were originally a 4 piece, formed in September 2006 by schoolmates Thomas Boyle, Jordan Murray, George Wishart and Conor Cairney. After a few weeks Scott Ferrie was brought in to replace Conor on the bass, who took up a management role.
Hard work in Red-Eye Studio's, Clydebank, brought The Initials their first gig in January 2007, selling over 100 tickets for the event and getting a foot in the door of the Glasgow music scene. A line-up change in October of 2007 brought Russell Edgar, who played a gig as a stand in once, was brought permanently on board on lead guitarist but he also left in April 2008. With a host of unsuccessful lead guitarists, it was felt it was time to take a new approach, and continue as a 3 piece.
Now with a much more heavier feel to the band, clearly influenced by the likes of Biffy Clyro and Nirvana, you can be sure to watch out for The Initials in coming years as they aim to take Glasgow and the world by storm.
