i am an artist
i'm in 'stage 2' of bafa, studying at the hampton university
i explore the environment surrounding my irregular sleep patterns through the use of photography, translated through print and drawing. i’m interested in how light conditions vary through the passing of time and the gradients that are produced. i like to explore the manipulation of an image through the use of different media, so that the image becomes consistent with how i view it when image is appropriated. i employ a systematic approach to my work. with photography, i can specify the duration and quantity of the moments i capture; whereas with print and drawing i focus on the layering of tone.i have exhibited my work at 15x15x15 for two consecutive years+will be exhibiting in the spring show next week!
