Darkest Requiem

About Me

This project is something I have wanted to do for a long time. The reasons are fairly simple. I just want something without band politics. At the end of the day, this project is something I am doing for myself. Throughout my own sordid band history I could never find musicians that wanted to play the type of music I enjoy most; similar perhaps but never the same. That’s how I ended up recording all instruments myself. It was really the only way to have something that is totally uncompromising. Feedback about production, intelligent reviews (good or bad), questions, and not-hate-mail are always welcome. Leave your reviews here, or get in touch with me at [email protected].

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: http://www.audiostreet.net/artist.aspx?artistid=35806
Band Members: All Guitar, Bass, Vokills, Lyrics, Keys, Programming is written and preformed by Brad Wells. Additional vocal compositions and session work by Rochelle Ireland.
Influences: Above all , classical music. Most styles of metal excluding nu-metal, glam metal, and folk metal. Specific bands include Arcturus, Samael, Vampiria, Dorn, Emperor, Therion, The Legion, Faith no More, Carcass, Cradle of Filth, Tristania, Tower, the Kovenant, Graveworm and countless others. Classical music such as Ludwig Van Beethoven, Bach, Motzart...and so on. Modern day gloomy scores by composers such as Wojciech Kilar, Danny Elfman, and Simon Boswell are excellent as well.
Sounds Like: Tristania, Samael, maybe Arcturus or Dorn. I hate calling my music "gothic" metal, but it's not black metal and death metal is not really right either. Darkest Requiem is best described as melodic metal, all styles dark & gloomy. Masthead Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com! Click here to make your own!
