is the first track made in our starrainstudio-the name is absolute program-the track, apart from the drum set was arranged with much caution out of just one sample (pad..s-bass line-every little ping out of one sample!) that’s why you can find such special harmony. Some of you, maybe the majority surely has the sample (or the program) on mc/pc available-it..s the program“ brave apr.” of the vsti ms-20 from the korg – legacy – collection- I just turned the aprigator off and changed it with a lp-modulation (pad..s), pitchbend..s, reversmode and so on… therefore the name of the track - first we called it brave art, but how could art possibly be brave?? We looked into each others eyes and thought the same in that very moment…:brave artists - we can truly identify with that name and we like others to fell the same - we want to encourage you to continue with whatever you do- against all obstacles in your way-that..s what it is about…

power of rage

Where as the Power of Rage comes out of the deepest depths of my soul (Ron..s). The track arose in one of my hardest times-it was a time very good described by a German saying which goes like this: if you stand on the edge of loneliness and madness laughs into your face, your closest will give you the last push. That was my situation also-even my relationship with Ann was very complicated at this time. I really was enraged-in total rage. More and more I felt these big fat “FUCK YOU ALL” in me. I was shocked on one hand, but it was reliving on the other. I felt full of energy and power again. It’s hard to describe what amount of energy and clarity was released. I wanted to transform this very feeling into music, so I went into the studio with a bottle of wine. I know exactly what kind it was: a shiraz (South Africa), year 2000-but now it comes: the name of the wine was “everything lost” (I am not kidding)-it just fitted my situation described in the beginning so well. I got drunk with it. I took quite a groovy basic (loop), a creation by kid ann, segmented it in the single samples and drums and then arranged a track on which I put among other things a fat overdrive-(by the way: the overdrive is out of the korg - collection as well). The track was completely arranged in within five hours, that’s not a lie!!! Like I said I was totally free and full of visions- I knew exactly how I wanted the song to sound like. If you want to, you might say the muse kissed me in a very extreme way… This is one of many different facet’s of my soul.
