I'm really only setting myself up for heartbreak:i'm on book eight of a (dorky!) twenty-one book series. Of course I'm in love with the characters and now totally obsessed with sailing (the books appear to be about sailing/sailors) so my problem is, what am I gonna do when I've read all 21? How will I know what is going on with Jack Aubrey and Steven Maturin? Pullings? Babbington? Not to mention England's war with France?I live in fear of this self-inflicted heartbreak, yet I can't help but read on.
