Well, I am a pretty laid back guy; love to laugh and be silly but I also like to be able to take it down a notch and just chill and have interesting conversation from time to time. I AM a grandpa, as most of you know, so I do enjoy "Grandpa" things like: drinking lots of milk, wearing cardigans, repeating the same stories over and over again, combing my hair and shaving only when completely necessary, repeating the same stories over and over again.I perform regularly at the National Comedy Theatre (Improv Troupe like WHOSE LINE...ANYWAY) most weekends located at 36th Street between 8th and 9th--come check me out!The stand-up thing is also going well, if you are on here AT ALL you'll see my annoying invites to come see me there, too...don't judge.If we are friends and you are here in the city, look up a brotha, and if we are friends and you happen to be VISITING, look a brotha up---we'll hang out!

My Interests

Finding great wings, happy hours with friends, conversations that will lead to crying from laughter, useless movie trivia, finding great nachos, ignoring actors who only talk about acting, rain if I'm not in it, sunday afternoons catching up on DVR, play off baseball, Sunday football, chili, and a great steak with red wine. Oh, and in case you are just looking for the abridged version....food.

I'd like to meet:

Friends and anyone who feels they could carry on a fun, silly, and ONLY sometimes deep conversation--oh and if you're a baseball fan (especially Red Sox) that's even better!

Music:

All Eighties, All Night; laced with Roy Orbison, Beach Boys, and The Mamas and the Papas, I do have some good ol' musicals and soundtracks, too. But nothing hard or too heavy for me, thanks.

Movies:

THE GODFATHER (duh).Others...JUNO (it was incredible) SCARFACE, TOMBSTONE, HEAT, DIRTY DANCING, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, THE DEPARTED, DANCER IN THE DARK, WAITING FOR GUFFMAN, DROP DEAD GORGEOUS, THE NEVERENDING STORY, BACK TO THE FUTURE (one, then three, then two), AS GOOD AS IT GETS, SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE, A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN, TEENWOLF, THE TOY, CASINO, FARGO, IN THE BEDROOM....Did I say THE GODFATHER?

Television:

DVR = True Love. I ADORE BROTHERS AND SISTERS, GREYS ANATOMY, though this back-and-forth with Meredith and Derek...shit or get off the pot; BIGGEST LOSER, OPRAH (except for her "favorite things" episode, thats just a god damn mess) DEAL OR NO DEAL, LINGO, FAMILY FEUD, AND CHAIN REACTION ON GAME SHOW NETWORK.

Books:

East of Eden, Grapes of Wrath, Catcher in the Rye, Al Pacino: Biography, First Snow, Brave New World, my favorite novel ever...The Great Gatsby.

Heroes:

I respect and admire the talent of a lot, but I don't believe in heroes. We all have the challenge of being the truest version of ourself and when we do, we become everyday heroes to everyone we meet.
