About Me

The greatest ska band ever in the history of music started in the small town of Stanhope, NJ when a group of friends got together and made music they loved. They sang together, they rocked together, they faught about girls together, they ate pizza together, they killed furbys together; they even shared socks sometimes. Between 1999-2002 A.D., 6 Fifty Per Shoe rocked the North Jersey punk/ska scene with everything they had. They played at just about every VFW, Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus, Coffee House, Fone Booth there was and are sorely missed to this day. With such timeless classics as, "Everything's Fine", "My Name is Danny Glover", "Chixdiggit", and "Another Saturday" 6 Fifty Per Shoe took control of the universe and it was no wonder why.
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Josh has taken up the accordian and serenades random women all over the U.S. on regular basis.
Patrick went on to play with the Jersey famous punk/emocore band, "Waiting For Sunset" from 2001-2003. He is currently working on his country rock masterpieces in his group called, "The Archipelago Experiment" in which he has full songwriting duties.
Jake took part in "Waiting For Sunset" with Patrick followed by a guitar/drumming stint with space/dance rock powerhouse "Tristan and the Invariable Constants" (later known simply as "The Invariable Constants"). He is currently drumming for the Rock/Jazz/Pop melting pot known as "Shoot.The.Moon."
Matt went on to play in the Jersey famous ska/punk band, "Sideswiped" right after 6 Fifty Per Shoe defunct until 2002. He currently plays Trumpet/Percussion with Jake in "Shoot.The.Moon."
T.J. played Trumpet with Matt in "Sideswiped" until 2002 and left NJ to focus on school and explore new surroundings.
Jon still focuses on his solo music (which began before he joined 6 Fifty Per Shoe) in which he brings clever lyrics with delicious melodies over funky and catchy acoustic guitars.
Adam went to college where he sang in an acappella group with friends. He is still a genius.
Arran also went to college and was pretty much the cross country star of a lifetime. He spends his time between Europe and the U.S. and is still enhancing his knowledge at the secondary college level.
