Bitter Pill probably started in the winter of 2004 when singer/guitarist Adam Tucker and guitarist Nathan Thiessen began collaborating their ideas. Two years later, this project evolved into the Adam Tucker Band, with Stefan Bots on drums (previously on bass) and Carl Janzen on guitar (previously on drums). In march 2007, Nathan Thiessen returned to the scene and the four of them officially became Bitter Pill. After Carl leaving in November of ’07, the trio picked up bass player Dan Merrick, through a friend of a friend!With a handful of shows at local venue’s in Calgary and a few demo’s to mark their growth, Bitter Pill has plans to record their first album in the near future, and you can expect to see them venturing further with their upcoming gigs and tours.Be sure to check this site for upcoming shows and other news!
