The venue was a horse riding arena.
As far as I can remember it wasn't even disused
They just set the decks, the speakers and the lights up
...and then the people came in... over five thousand of them
It was our thank you to Willie & Tommy
for letting us record the crowd at Nelson

Pete Tong was my A&R man for 2 years before he became Pete Tong with Radio 1 ;-)
