About Me

It's just me and my guitar... and occasionally some piano that I try and play. Every Sunday I lead worship at the Basilica Community in Pasadena, TX.

I write a lot of songs, but mostly I write songs for my church community. My desire is to someday be able to write great hymns like the Charlotte Elliot, Fanny Crosby and John Newton. Someday.

Musically, I am inspired by a number of people who are far more talented than I am. Lyrically, I am most inspired by the Scriptures and by the inspiring words of thinkers and pastors like Dr. John Piper, Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones, Martin Luther, Augustine... and the five solos of the Reformation.

Plan on seeing me soon...
