About Me

On the fifteenth of May 1977, approximately one year after his arrival in the uk, he accepted the Lord as his pernal saviour and was baptized in the name of Jesus christ and was filled with the Holy Spirit, which became a turning point in his life.In 1978, he was appointed an Exhorter, and the following year a Minister. He became renowned for uncompromising preaching of the 'whole gospel' and as Young Peoples president he gained experience in administration and leadership, also forming the first Bibleway all Male Choir. In January 1984, he was sent to pastor the Greater Bibleway Church in Cambridge, which has been in operation serving the community for the last 15 years in. His first sermon was taken from Joshua Chapter One, based on promises to God. It was preached to a congregation of five people! The church is now thriving in membership. In May of the same year, Pastor Williams was ordained an Elder and is now Diocesan Bishop over sighting four churches.Since his arrival in Cambridge, a profound difference has been seen in both the way things have developed within the local community, as well as the Church itself. He immediately established closer working relationships with community-based groups, along with universities, colleges and schools, in order to give people, a new sense of direction. Thus, creating opportunities for members of the ethnic population to take a more active role in their community by offering their talents, gifts and abilities and develop a more harmonious working relationship. The work of Bishop Williams also extends to a number of trouble spot areas around the country outside the Bibleway Church Organisation. This includes:· London - where he served as a minister of religion and an active community member with local groups· Cambridge - where he is now residing and working,· Ipswich, Northampton, Reading, Bedford and Peterborough - at one time or another during this time. His pursuits have also taken him to other continents of the world working tirelessly preaching the gospel and taking an active part in relieving poverty and suffering to thousands of people. He has also assisted in educational development programmes with fundraising and donations for the provision of educational materials and financial aid. These activities stretch from Nigeria and Ghana in West Africa, to Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda in East Africa, South India, Asia, British Guyana South America, Barbados, St. Lucia, Trinidad, Jamaica in the West Indies.Over the past fifteen years, Rev bishop Williams has counselled with distinguished individuals such as the Prime Minister of Guyana and senior government officials from other countries, church leaders from various religious backgrounds, and foreign and local community workers. all this was done with the aim of diminishing and eliminating cultural and racial bigotry in order to develop a better multicultural multiracial community, understanding and tolerance among people of different backgrounds, race and colour. msprm name="movie" value="http://widget-
