How I love the Duckman! <3 What is there that you need to know about me that you dont already know? Well my name is Melinda (Mindy or Mel whichever other nick name you have for me). I am one of the co-creaters of the Kalamazoo Music Scene promotion site. Me and my best friend Elena started the site almost a year ago with more success then we ever thought of. I am a huge supporter of local music (check out some of my bands). I love all things music in fact.
I work a lot. I am a CNA for Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan and I love my job. I have been a CNA for 7 years. I also am really busy with the KMS site. We go to shows on average 3 times a week in the busy season. With winter and all we are down to about 1 a week. Even with working full time and doing the site, I still find time to do my most favorite thing in the world. I am a intern for Cumulus Broadcasting (107.7/103.3) in Kalamazoo. I spend time on the road with them @ live broadcasts and have recently made it on the air as a morning show intern. I have a lot of fun with the RKR group. They are some of the most fun people I know. I intern with a very few other people who are pretty awesome I have been an intern since May 07.
I am a very big family person as well I have 2 bros Jayson and Kalem. I am an Aunt to a beautiful baby girl Kaylee Jade (KJ). I finally can say I have a sister (well sort of) Amanda (k's wife) is a wonderful sister-in-law and friend I am super happy for them. My parents are amazing and I know I can count on them for anything.
Not only do I have a stellar family but my friends are also amazing. Elena who is my best friend who is more like a sister to me than anyone else could ever be (and we fight like it to). My girl Holly who has been one of my best friends for almost 10 years. We have had our moments but always seem to patch things up. Heather who is my total wing man (and always will be) have been friends forever as well. My extended family includeds my band people. The Hex Bombs (who are forever scarred on me lol) Brother Bill some of the greatest cats I know. GUM, the Fuelies, Maryz Eyez, Big Ben, Jon and Steph (the warriors blonde)you guys mean a lot to me.
Other than that I am your normal chick. I live by myself chillen in my house. I hang at the bar with my friends. I live for live music. I drink beer and talk shit. What more fun could I have?
