Twisted Speech Records is one of the newest indie hiphop labels comin' off the west coast. Spearheaded by Verbal E. Bent(Owner/Exec. Producer/Lead Artist)and affiliated strongly with Noble House Records, T.S.R. is a lethal combination of mainstream and underground sounds. Verbal aka Ric Flare has been rippin' microphones in the Bay Area for the past 10 years and is fairly well known for his freestyle antics at such events as Dew You and T.K.O., Tru-Skool events, The Chronicle Pavilion, Tourettes Without Regrets, and Mingles, as well as hosting an open mic for 1 year at An Sibin in the Tenderloin! He's performed with the likes of Gennessee and the Noble House Family, Chemistry, Subverse, Felonious, and the Greans Crew!!

Influences:
..T.S.R. is influenced by many. Every generation of producer and artist has left a mark on the production styles and artistry of all members of the label! From James Brown to Lil Jon, from Rakim to Ras Kass! If you saw into Verbal's cd case you'd see everything from Latyrx to Copywrite. Their influences are heavily underground favorites with a mixture of mainstream and unknowns. The idea behind it is to bring a new flavor to the table with a little something familiar in every song!
