The Alpine Black

About Me

The Alpine Black mix haunting broken country blues, towering folk traditions and indie paced energy to create a mesmerizing tidal wave of sound. The music is a combination of acoustic instruments, voices, and lyrics that search through surreal and realistic visions of a disappearing American landscape. Forming in the fall of 2006, The Alpine Black continue to outline the folk tradition while pulling from numerous genres. Covers range from Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, Neko Case and more.
