Sace began his musical career playing drums but moved into DJj’ing when hip-hop culture swept Britain in the 1980’s. He found himself amongst a group of like-minded individuals of DJ’s, MC’s, beatboxers and graffiti artists that congregated at a place called “The bench†on Glasgow’s southside.Sace was part of the original pioneers of Scottish hip hop Two tone committee and was instrumental in their first release in 1990 on twenty third precinct records entitled “Hangmanâ€. It was around this time he teamed up with fellow DJ/producer DJ Easi and along with Joseph Malik they began a club called Babylon. This was the first in a series of highly successful club nights including Blueprint, which was the first club in the UK to feature 4 turntables, in house skate ramp and Breakdancers.From this point Sace and Easi took their production techniques to a new level with a group called “NTâ€. Their first deal was with the Stereo MC’s label Natural response through BMG. They released “Responsibilities†b/w “distances by air†in 1996 to rave reviews. The group signed to Epic records in 1998 recording their album with Verve producer Chris Potter.Sace has recently released an album by the name of “Nom†with ex superstar front man Joe McLinden on Germanys Yo Mama recording company, has produced tracks for various hip hop acts and is working on an Album project with Clarita to be released soon.CLARITA "SUMMERTIME" feat La Bruja, Playgyrl Slim & Kin
