Macio’s love of music has been evident since his childhood and he gave his first public performance at the tender age of 15. His clubland beginnings stretch all the way back to his hometown, Sokolov, and if we discount his disco period, it can be said that he very quickly realised that his ideas of DJing were different. Maybe that is the reason why he was not seen behind the mixer for quite some time.In 2006 came a major breakthrough when he was invited to a new club in Pilsen, PH+, by its production manager Luboš Martínek, aka Tall Boy Slim (big thnx 4ever). Following the tremendous reception from the Pilsen audience, success soon appeared, as did a new challenge. After less than a year of playing at the PH+ club, he was offered his own residency night – CARNAVAL – from which he created a luxury party atmosphere replete not only with amazing decorations and extravagant guests but also, and primarily, fantastic music. It soon became of the most successful parties of 2006 at PH+ and Macio became the club’s youngest resident DJ.In the summer of 2006 he played in REDZONE at the afterparty of one of Brno’s top open-air events - SEMTEX CULTURE – and his set rounded off the entire summer festival season. In 2007 Macio regularly appeared behind the decks at the renowned Prague club Mecca, where the audience’s enthusiastic response duly caught the attention of the club’s management. In September he accepted the offer to become an official resident DJ of this first-class club and launched his second residency event – SoundCream. Soon afterwards he accepted another offer for an official residency night, in the no-less luxurious milieu of Prague’s Duplex club. He also had an honour to play at the most popular summer festivals - Summer of Love and Mácháč. Subsequently, the first foreign bookings were made and Macio played in Bratislava, as well as Italy.Owing to these opportunities, he has had the honour to play alongside such Czech and foreign luminaries as Eric Prydz, Ben Long, Damian Wilson, Lisa Loud, Steve Smart, Fidelity Kastrow, Jonty Skrufff, Tony Haze, Pete Doyle, Sydney, Antoine 909, Kae, Alister Whitehead, Anthony M., Diome, Tall Boy Slim, Loutka, Chris Sadler, Ivan M., Marwin Shamma, Neo, T.T. Soulgangster, Michael Burian, DaMoon, Konrad, Kuba Soulcheck, Cubik, Bo.Dan... Playing alongside these (and other) DJs, he has gathered further experience and inspiration. His contemporary sound melds deep, groovy, pumpin, progressive house with elements of nu disco, spiced up with a pinch of electro. And since he doesn’t like compartmentalisation, his sets are imaginative and energetic, noted for their variegation and replete with surprises…Thnx to Sanny..
Láska k hudbě byla u Macia zřejmá už od dětství, není tedy překvapení, že se poprvé před publikem předvedl již v 15-letech. Jeho počátky s kluby jsou spjaty se Sokolovem, pomineme-li diskotékové období, dá se řící,že Macio velmi rychle vytušil, že tohle není přesně to, co by si představoval, a tak se po něm na nějaký čas za mixem slehla zem. Zlom nastal v roce 2006, kdy si ho do nového Plzeňského clubu PH+ vybral tamní manažer produkce Luboš Martínek aka Tall Boy Slim (big thnx). Po více než vřelém přijetí plzeňského publika na sebe úspěch nedal dlouho čekat a před Maciem se objevila nová výzva. Po necelém roce působení v tomto klubu mu byla nabídnuta vlastní residentní noc - CARNAVAL – ze které udělal díky své píli luxusní mejdan plný skvělých hostů, úžasné muziky a fantastických dekorací. Stal se tak nejmladším residentem tohoto clubu a residentní noc CARNAVAL se brzy po uvedení stává jednou z nejúspěšnějších party roku 2006 v PH+. V létě si pak zahrál na afterparty REDZONE stage na festivalu Semtex culture v Brně. Následující léto tráví Macio ve vyhlášeném Pražském clubu Mecca, kladné ohlasy publika nezůstaly bez povšimnutí u managementu clubu a ihned s nástupem září přijímá nabídku stát se oficiálním residentem tohoto prvotřídního clubu a startuje svou další residenci - SoundCream. Nedlouho poté přikyvuje na další nabídku oficiální residentní noci, tentokrát v clubu Duplex v Praze. Následkem toho přicházé i první zahraniční nabídka a Macio se tak vydává k našim sousedům do Bratislavy. Díky těmto příležitostem má tu čest hrát po boku spousty skvělých českých i zahraničních Djs, jakými jsou: Damian Wilson, Lisa Loud, Steve Smart, Tony Haze, Pete Doyle, Sydney, Kae, Alister Whitehead, Anthony M., Diome, Tall Boy Slim, Loutka, Chris Sadler Ivan M., Marwin Shamma, Neo, T.T, Michael Burian, DaMoon, Konrad, Kuba Soulcheck, Cubik, Bo.Dan a dalších po jejichž boku sbírá další zkušenosti a inspiraci. Jeho současný sound se pohybuje někde na pomezí funky groovy housu přes melodický progressive až po vymazlené energické electro. Škatulkování ale nemá rád a tak jsou jeho sety nápadité a energické, charakteristické svou různobarevností a plné překvapení…
