Carpe Diem

I wake up each morning, brush my teeth, make a coffee, smoke a cigarette. It's not so much a routine but more of a tradition. It makes me smile, for 10 minutes at least. Then it's shirt buttoned up, shoelaces tied. Reality calls me yet again. I answer the call every day, thats not a tradition, it is routine. Yet I yearn for someone, to finally say, "Oh Captain, My Captain."
