In 1988 began studying guitar and the first musical experiences move around rock and then toward jazz and contemporary music. After a degree in physic he continued his musical study and graduated in jazz at the Conservatorio “Luca Marenzio” in Brescia with Corrado Guarino, Sandro Gibellini, Roberto Cipelli, Giulio Visibelli. He attended Berklee Summer Masterclasses at Umbria Jazz 2004 with Mark White and Jim Kelly and masterclasses with Mike Stern, Stefano Zenni and Franco D’Andrea.
The deep interest for the music of the nineteen hundred’s composers influences his solo project Architetture Loop, where he plays with electric guitar, looper, effects and objects to create original instrumental pieces that lie between composition and improvisation. Then he has extended his interest to improvised and contemporary music starting the Phi 4 duo with drummer Fabrizio Saiu.
Now he's studying composition with the composer Mauro Montalbetti.
Since october 2007 he attends the Permanent Musical Research Laboratories led by the pianist Stefano Battaglia.
Now he's working on composition and improvisation with Emanuele Maniscalco, Giulio Corini, Fabrizio Saiu, Stefano Battaglia, Christian Thoma, Francesco Ganassin, Francesco Bigoni, Nelide Bandello, Dario Bruna, Dan Kinzelman, Mauro Montalbetti, Kyle Gregory, Andrea Lamacchia, Alessandro Giachero, Michele Sanna, Maurizio Lesmi, Chiara Liuzzi. He also plays with the singer-composers Paolo Cattaneo and Angela Kinczly.
He teaches guitar and improvisation in his area.
With Phi 4 award the first prize on Concorso Giovani Musicisti Europei 2008 Strade del Cinema Festival Internazionale del Cinema Muto Musicato dal Vivo.
