We just completed a move from Pymouth to North Manchester. It was pretty hectic for the first week but we are unpacked and able to find most of our things. My potato grater seems to be the only thing missing. Not bad! Update!! The potato grater has been found!!! Woo Hoo!
It's so refreshing to be back in town and see familiar faces. I ran into my Uncle Gene at the grocery store a couple days after moving back then spotted my cousin Mick at the neighbor's house.
I had a blast staying with Bev for a week while I was looking for a place here. Can't believe it had been over 11 years since I'd seen her.
I love living so close to the covered bridge. I spent most of my childhood in this neighborhood. I can hear the boards creak every time someone drives over it. It's one of my favorite spots in town.
I started my new job about a month ago and I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. It's my dream job...I get to talk on the phone 8 hours a day. My mother would be so proud of me for getting paid to talk on the phone. : )
I love making new friends! But who doesn't?! I have a ton of hobbies: collecting dust bunnies, shopping for totally useless stuff, and I absolutely love experiments! Like...how long it takes to use the last dish in the house, how many people will jump in the shower without looking to see if there are towels first, how far can a person get on an empty tank of gas, and most recently how long it takes a person to find a phone that is "charged" so they can make the ringing stop! Did you know that the base units ring even if the handsets are dead? LOL! I learned that last night. That experiment could lead to insanity with teenagers in the house! Oh, and my other hobbies are reading, writing, crafting, computer stuff, cooking, Nascar, etc.
When it comes to my friends I am not judgemental and always try to view life's perspectives through their eyes. Uniqueness is a trait that I admire and respect in all individuals and applaud those "that are who they are" and don't try to mold themselves to what society or others think they should be.
