About Me

BIG SQUEEZY is a Rockin' Accordion Combo based out of Seattle WA. Accordionist Steve Rice drives the band with a danceable mix of zydeco, rock and roll, cajun, blues, and "squeezy" originals.
BIG SQUEEZY first performed for Mardi Gras 2002 at Providence Mt. St. Vincent in Seattle. Since then they have performed for "Louisianathon", "Taste of Edmonds", "Kenyon Hall Katrina Relief" "Louiefest" "NW Cajun Zydeco Association" and numerous clubs in the Seattle area.

BIG SQUEEZY AT LOUIEFEST 2007Bandleader STEVE RICE has written songs for blues artists including Duffy Bishop and Dee Daniels and is a first call NW session player with numerous recordings to his credit. He has never forgotten that Job One with Big Squeezy is to rock and roll all night long!
