About Me

This really is an open-ended question. Depending on who I imagine reading this thing (assuming that it will actually be read), I can see myself composing various versions, and depending on your profile, a compatible version would be displayed. Nevertheless, here it goes...For the last decade or so, I have been a nomad. Two years after beginning college at Concordia University Nebraska (1997), I transferred to Concordia University Wisconsin, where I spent the next four years. However, that spring my parents moved to Indianapolis, IN, and unfortunately, I haven't been back to Nebraska very often. After marrying Jamie, who is from the Milwaukee area (Oct. 5, 2002), and graduating, we then moved to St. Louis. Jamie worked for two years as a Youth Director, supporting me while I study at Concordia Seminary to become a pastor. As a part of that program, we spent last year (2005-06) in Seymour, IN, as I served a pastoral internship at Immanuel Lutheran Church. After moving back to St. Louis this past July for my final year of school, we were blessed with our first child, a beautiful girl, and we named her Naomi. On April 25th, I will receive my placement, determining where we will move, and then on May 18th I will graduate. Thankfully, after ten years of living a nomadic life, we will be able to settle into a community. This will be our seventh "home" in less than five years of marriage. There you have it.
