Wrekster Maniaco is a chicano born the city of East la on Dec 1 1983,to a mexican couple who above all always taught him to do it all by heart.He listened,though from a very young age faced turbulence in his life due to poverty,drug abuse and other problems facing the young raza to this very day.Having moved around the Los Angeles region many times,his family finally settled in the mexican community of El Monte.From the start the energy of the city embraced him just as much as he embraced it.From the backyard boogies,drogas and hoodrats,he could never get enough,which introduced him to the criminal lifestyle.This all led to his first arrest at 12 and sent to los padrinos at 13.After 2 camp programs and numerous run ins with the law,the streets taught Wrekster invaluable lessons in life no college education could've taught.After starting to realize what poison was being released on his community and also the prospect of serving life sentences like other local homeboys,he was blessed with his first son and saw it as a chance for something diffrent.It was during this time that a youth was coming home with guitar in hands that he met Wrekster,and after bonding with a bowl of california greens agreed to teach him how to play.Its been 6 yrs since those days and Wrekster Maniacs has made many close friend in the musik community.At first leading the way in a underground punk band,while at the same time gettin his skills at beatmaking,Wrekster Maniaco founds his calling in musik as a form of communication in the hood.Something the drugs,police and haters couldnt mess with.Untainted street views,wether in rap,hip hop and punk,music was here to stay.In his family as well as music he found what he couldnt in drugs and gang life,and made a point from then on to tell his young homies about it,listen or not.Today his is clawing his way up with the help of his loving girl and kids,aswell as homies in Ghetto Intelligence,MC CHunkSTER and his brother MR GRIFO.He is also was able to do something that only teaches the sense of fate by reconecting with childhood friend Cricket Nasty and starting to make music that is simply put like this...MUSIK MADE ALL NATURALLY IN THE HOOD,NO Aditives..Keep on the look out for his music and if you are an upcoming musician,feel free to reach out and see whats up. sgv underground hip hop.
